We were back at our favorite Hartwick Pines for June camping. The weather cooperated until the last two nights which rained until the mornings. We took advantage of being indoors in the mornings by playing UNO and CLR until it cleared up early in the afternoons.
The hubby was able to ran a couple of days while the kids and I played in the playground and biked around. This was the first time that Lyn agreed to take a shower at the campground facility and Vyn also enjoyed it this time. He had a not so favorable shower experience last year at another campground.
This year we decided to stay within Grayling and the campground. We still enjoyed the bog walk, learned about the beaver and hike along the trails. We visited and walked around the nature trail in the Beal Tree Plantation. But did not do much driving around neighboring towns this time. It is more relaxing not hurrying off to go any where and just enjoy each others company while lazying around.
