The second book in the trilogy started right where The Hunger Games ends. A friend lend me her hardbound copy and when I started the book, there was no stopping me from finishing it. Katniss and Peeta are now back home in District 12 at the Victors Village. Their win gave the people of Panem the courage to defy the capitol. Now there is more unrest and rebellion. President Snow is not happy with Katniss and will do anything to gain back his control over Panem.
The idea of reading a book about kids killing kids is not appealing to some people. But that is not all there is to this trilogy. The twists and turns of events, the stories of the lives of the main characters are so captivating, you will not want to stop reading until you finish the whole trilogy.
Catching Fire ends leaving you on the edge. If you decide to read this, make sure you have the Mockingjay within reach.
