This book by Amanda Quick is a historical romance about an Earl whose first wife died mysteriously. Now he married Sophy for convenience. She agreed because she has her own ulterior motive for vengeance and to ultimately teach "the devil" to love again.
This book is originally published in the 1990s. It is a quick read. You will get the cheesy love scenes, the quarrels of willful and headstrong characters, some scandals and mystery all in one.
