Crim Run

August 28, 2010 my hubby joined the 10 mile Crim Run in Flint, Michigan for the first time.  Click on the link and you can also see the results.  It was the first time I have to wake the kids up at 5:00 in the morning.  Usually we just let them wake up on their own except for school days.  So I was a little apprehensive the night before.  But thankfully, maybe because they were told before hand and expected it already, they were very cooperative and everything just went smoothly as planned.  They slept again on our way to Flint.
At the event, the kids were just blasting with the energy all around us.  There were people everywhere, elbow to elbow most of the time especially along the route.  We luckily got a good spot both in the starting line and the finish line.  We were right in the front where we can see the runners and specially where the dad can see us right away.  He did better than he usually does during his training too.
